Taika Waititi’s feature debut Eagle vs Shark is a quirky romance between wallflower Lily (Loren Horsley) and the socially awkward Jarrod (Jemaine Clement).

Eventually the unlikely pair find love but only after some excruciatingly awkward moments involving attempts at revenge, video games obsessions and encounters with Jarrod’s quirky family. Peppered with Waititi’s trademark offbeat humour and unconventional storytelling, Eagle vs Shark is equal parts hilarious and heartwarming.
