Actor/writer Penny Ashton has toured the world for over 20 years. Her solo literary musicals have included Promise and Promiscuity, Olive Copperbottom and The Tempestuous and her recent adaptation of Sense and Sensibility played at Circa and The Court Theatre.

The Garden Reading Party is part of HamLit 2025 – a captivating literary weekend where authors from around the motu come together with local talent to cultivate sparkling conversations and air fresh ideas in the beautiful environs of the Hamilton Gardens.
