Don McGlashan is one of New Zealand’s most highly regarded songwriters. He rose to fame with the groups Blam Blam Blam, The Front Lawn, and The Mutton Birds, who released four New Zealand Top Ten albums. Their song Anchor Me won the APRA Silver Scroll in 1994.
His 2006 gospel anthem Bathe in the River – sung by Hollie Smith – earned Don a second Silver Scroll and has become one of the biggest New Zealand singles of all time. He was made an Arts Laureate in 2002 and, in 2023, was inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
Special guest vocalist Hollie Smith will join Don McGlashan and The Others on a selection of songs.
